A Conference for Local and Regional Health Department Staff in Texas
Purpose - to improve state and local health department practices to plan and implement public health programs, policies and system changes that will move public health forward through the use of data, health equity, community partnerships and a strong public health workforce, all with the goal to improve the health of the community.
The conference sessions take aways are to help:
1) Increase awareness of factors that impact public health
2) Understand how the use of data, health equity, community partnerships and a strong workforce move a community's health forward
3) Develop skills to assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of public health practices.
