A Conference for Local and Regional Health Department Staff in Texas

TACCHO’s 2020 “Premier Public Health Conference”  provides a focus on workforce development.

 

2020 Conference Purpose

Purpose - to improve state and local health department practices in workforce development with the focus of maintaining, retaining and recruiting public health professionals.

The conference sessions take aways are to help: 

 

1)      Increase awareness of factors that impact workforce retention

2)      Understand factors that impact workforce satisfaction

3)      Develop skills to assist in the creation, or amendment of a workforce development plan for their organization based on regular assessment of workforce needs and gaps
