Lisa Dick, RDN, LD, Director, Brownwood-Brown County Health Department

Lisa Dick RDN, LD, Director, Brownwood-Brown County Health Department Lisa began working at the department in 2007 as the WIC dietitian, working with families to encourage healthy eating and focusing on obesity prevention. In May 2015, Lisa was promoted to the Health Director position, where she could promote all areas of health by leading and serving in the director position.  Lisa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Texas Christian University. Prior work includes Brownwood Regional Medical Center as the Director of Support Services and Clinical Dietitian, teaching nutrition courses at Howard Payne University in the School of Nursing, and providing nutrition education to various clinics, support groups, and organizations.

Lisa serves on the Texas Public Health Funding & Policy Committee.
