Amy Fagan, MPA

Amy Fagan is the Director of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health District.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin in 1998.  In 2007, she received her Master’s in Public Administration from Midwestern State University.  Ms. Fagan has been employed with the City of Wichita Falls since 1999.  She was the Assistant Director of the Wichita Falls – Wichita County Public Health District for 16 years and has been the Director since 2023. 

She has been the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, Outstanding Alumnus Award from Midwestern State University, and Shining Star Award from the Wichita Falls Independent School District. Ms. Fagan was a member of the Advisory Committee for the Kresge Foundation Emerging Leaders in Public Health Program and has also served on several local boards including the United Regional Hospital Board of Directors. She is currently the Vice President of the Texas Association of Municipal Health Officials (TAMHO).
