Sharon Whitley, Director, Hardin County Health Department

Sharon Whitley, Health Services Director, Hardin County Health Department.  Her career in public health began twenty-four years ago with the City of Beaumont, where for sixteen years she worked as a Public Health Specialist.  In 2013, she joined the Hardin County Health Department team and in 2017 became the Health Services Director for Hardin County.

Her career in public health has afforded her many learning experiences. She has worked many hurricanes, an ice storm, and a public health pandemic.  Her love and compassion for mankind helps her to pursue a career in helping others.
