Summary<BR><BR>Provide public health nursing and education services.<BR><BR>Schedule requires flexibility in hours and may require evening and/or weekend work. <BR>Work Schedule: M-F 8a-5p with Saturday Rotation required; some after hours required.<BR>Travel to worksites throughout Tarrant County required.<BR> <BR>Grant funded.<BR><BR>Why are Nurses coming to Tarrant County Public Health?<BR>Day shift work schedules - Monday through Friday<BR>Great benefits, including 13 holidays (see link above)<BR>CEU's and more educational opportunities<BR>The opportunity to make a difference in our community<BR>The chance to work maternal and child health issues throughout the community<BR>The opportunity to address a variety of chronic disease issues<BR><BR>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<BR>Provides clinical services including immunizations and phlebotomy.<BR>Performs case management for Perinatal Hep B clients and record abstractions for the Fetal Infant Mortality Review.<BR>Uses electronic systems to research and document work.<BR>Provides client referrals as needed.<BR>Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the Public Health Department as assigned or required.<BR>Minimum Requirements<BR>NOTE: YOU MUST FILL OUT THE WORK HISTORY and EDUCATION SECTIONS OF APPLICATION TO SHOW YOU HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION AS REQUIRED BY HIRING DEPARTMENT OR BE DISQUALIFIED.<BR><BR>TO APPLY, must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.<BR>OR<BR>TO APPLY, must have an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) + Two (2) full-time years of related work experience.<BR><BR>TO APPLY, must have current Texas RN licensure.<BR>MUST PROVIDE LICENSING AGENCY AND LICENSE NUMBER IN "CERTIFICATES AND LICENSING" SECTION OF THE APPLICATION OR BE DISQUALIFIED.<BR><BR>TO APPLY, must possess a current and valid Driver License.
